Sicherheitsvorfall - Times Car
Der japanische Carsharing-Dienst Times Car bestätigte am 28. September 2026 eine Datenpanne, bei der die Konten von rund 6,6 Millionen aktuellen und ehemaligen Nutzern kompromittiert wurden. Einem unbefugten Dritten war bereits Anfang September 2026 der Zugriff auf die Systeme des Unternehmens gelungen. Zu den kompromittierten personenbezogenen Daten gehören vollständige Namen, Anschriften, Geburtsdaten, Telefonnummern, E-Mail-Adressen, Führerscheininformationen, Bilder von Ausweisdokumenten und Passwörter. Laut dem Unternehmen waren die Passwörter in einer Form gespeichert, die eine Wiederherstellung verhindert. Kreditkartendaten waren nicht betroffen. Die Dienste des Unternehmens liefen normal weiter.
