Disclosure summary
A flaw was found in Samba’s certificate auto-enrollment Group Policy handling. When certificate auto-enrollment is enabled, Samba may retrieve a CA certificate over an unencrypted HTTP connection and install it into the local trust store without proper verification. An attacker with the ability to intercept or redirect network traffic could exploit this behavior to supply a malicious certificate authority certificate, potentially allowing interception or spoofing of trusted communications.

GitHub repository matches
Repository matches are links and GitHub-supplied metadata only. They are not verified working proof-of-concept code. Each supported query is bounded to ten pages and at most 1,000 indexed results. This is not a complete index of GitHub or public exploit research. Coverage can also be limited by provider availability, rate limits, rejected metadata, incomplete search results, manual review, and the recorded refresh time.
